It takes a special sort of human to train and work with a Therapy dog.  First, the person must have a deep compassion for humanity, especially for those in need; the Akita must also have excellent temperament, patience and compassion.  Together, these two--owner and Akira--make a great team.  They do truly wonderful work to help others.  They deserve a round of applause!
